WOW. Its Been Forever!

I feel like just yesterday I was updating this baby, but with limited Internet connection, it might as well be yesterday, as it takes 45 mins to upload a photo. It’s kind of nice to take a break from technology, but then when you need to use its nice to have fast reliable service. Not service that comes and goes when it feels like it.

Anyways I left you last time going on a nice leisurely hike down the mountain. At the end of June, my parents came for a visit. It was a nice long weekend; we went to a ton of waterfalls in the area and did some hiking. For those of you who know my parents that's very shocking. Wait until you see the pictures, some of the trails were unbelievable, and I am so proud of them! My favorite waterfalls we went to were Dill Falls and Courthouse Falls, they were wonderful, I wore my swim suit but couldn't jump in, and the water is a nice cool 66 degrees all year round.

Today is the start of the new session. This means we have training for the new volunteers (3 to 6 more couples). while they are training the other volunteers are still working, that being said there are at least 3 more full sized travel trailers/ mobile homes/ coaches in an already full camp site, needless to say we are squeezed in like sardines, it will be interesting to see if it is like the mall parking lot around Christmas with RVs circling the lot waiting for people to pull out. Good thing they are assigned to a certain site and have a time frame for when the other group will be out. Otherwise it would be a zoo.

Not much going on in the way of work, emails and conference calls. Lining up meeting locations and complete my side of the Trails Strategy document. It will be nice to get that complete so that I can cross one thing off my list.

We have Song Catchers at the Cradle on Sunday and then in a few short weeks we have Smokey's Birthday. Even with it being a few weeks away we have already started planning for the busiest day of the year! I can’t wait!!! Last year’s numbers were over 1000! Wahoo!

Until next time!
